Scream 4 (2011)
Director: Wes Craven
Main Stars: Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Shenae Grimes
Storyline: After 10 years Sidney Prescott is back in town to promote her new book and so is Funny Face to greet her.
Review(Spoils): Here we go again with another Scream movie with ….you guessed…. the same damn characters. This is a series that really needs a revamp if it going to survive like such classics like Friday the 13th or A Nightmare Elm Street. Please Wes Craven stop with the Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette characters. Kill them off already!
So now back to the film we have once again Funny Face running around slaughtering people and asking them what their favourite movie is and hunting down Sidney (Neve Campbell). Nothing really new and nothing really fresh but hey it’s Scream. We have Sidney’s relative Trudie (Shenae Grimes) who is boring and not too excited about her being in town to promote her new book. She rather just leave the embarrassing past of her family behind. Somewhere in there we have babes being killed, annoying teens that think they are cool and the lame ass cop Dewey Riley (David Arquette) and his bitchy has been reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox). Oh and wait they did the video camera gig also in this film. My god make it stop!
Also the intro to the movie being fake twice was really stupid and massive annoying not thrilling at all and for that alone super minus marks.
Rating: Dear Wes Craven if you want this series to breath and live like your past series please kill the 3 same boring characters that you keep bringing back. Great villain… yeah Funny Face, terrible storyline but still better than a fucking remake. Here’s to Scream 5 …death to all the above!
