Review (Spoils):  Having no idea what this film was about except that it had 3 beautiful women on the cover and it involved vampires,  I will say that this film is like a mix of Lost Boys meets Near Dark with a great sexual feel.  The film storyline is simple we have a three female vampires, led by delicious Louise (Nina Hoss), the beautiful, intelligent one who was once a silent film actress Charlotte (Jennifer Ulrich)and the third being the fun one named Nora (Anna Fischer). Louise tracks down a street wise woman named Lena (Karoline Herfurth) and decide to bless her with a bite to join their coven.  Through it all we learn of vampire trio that they do not trust men and believe they were the downfall of the vampire race and keeping men away from the bloodline was the best thing for the race.  Turns out Lena is wanted by the law while having a hard time with the vampire change. We have some fun scenes such as learning to adapt to the undead change, lots of blood, lots of biting, some gun wounds and of course some serious babes with some lesbian tendencies.

Outside of the yumminess of Nina Hoss and Jennifer Ulrich we have a solid storyline which is unique as the focus of the film is on a matron view of a vampire coven. Sure the rave scenes can be annoying due to the music but the film sits well with a modern gothic feel.  The downside of the film is the cheesy CGI fire but outside of that the film holds well.

Rating:  For vampire fans I recommend this film as it is something fresh and semi new and it’s even more fun as it European and not over taken from the Hollywood Twilight crap and the super stars with their cuteness jammed down your throat. Grab this film and try something that is a little different than your standard vampire film. Do not let the posy cover steer you wrong.  It was just a selling point.
