We have the attractive Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) hitting on fireman and trying to get the big storyline of her career. Well this ends with her on one of the emergency calls and leads to her being trapped in a building of a killer virus which makes people come back from the dead. She and many others such as tenants, paramedics, firemen and rescue aid are trapped inside an apartment complex as ravage zombie like people attack each other.

This is pretty much the same as the original except it is not as good. Jennifer Carpenter is hot but her character is annoying as hell. I wanted her killed off before it all really started. She is no Manuela Velasco from [Rec]. The gore is there and there are parts that make you jump but something in is missing in this remake, oh wait it’s the acting!!! Good gore but other than that it lacks.

Rating: Too be honest just watch [Rec] it is way better of a film then this one. It’s alright for what it is but man the original sky rockets it, stop with the remakes!
