A young woman was raised in the house and now lives next door with her grumpy grandfather. The weird and too close siblings hear crying in the night, cold rooms, rotting flowers and mood swings in certain rooms. Before you know it we learn that there is a past to the house which is connected to the young Stella (Gail Russell) (who acts like she is 13). Mists of ghosts start to appear and haunt everyone and finally the truth is revealed and then everything goes back to normal in two seconds.

The film is very long and can be boring. I’m sorry but the storyline was thick so a not so scary film. Sure the graphics of the mist and the flowers so was cool for its time but my god the acting was painful.

Rating:  Drink hard for this one as you might need it. Feel free to suck back a shot every time you hear the name Stella and you will see what I mean.
