A photographer (John Heard ) who is interested in taking pictures of the homeless and his girlfriend (Kim Greist) get caught in the missing person investigation. Through all searching and noising around the truth comes out that the people are being eaten by a group of people who lived underground but they mutated into monsters. This creates the word C.H.U.D which stands for Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers. In the end too much poking around causes the creatures to come up from underground into the city itself.

We have some great glowing eyes creatures that roam the sewers. We see lots of clawed hands, a dog getting snatched, blood in the drains, a creature getting beheaded, some serious gas in the tunnels, gun shots and a final explosion.

Rating: This is a classic 80s monster film and brings back some cheesy childhood memories. Not the greatest film but it does still stand as cheesy monster film.
