MV5BMTM1MTEwNDE0MF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNjE2NDM3MQ@@__V1_SY317_CR5,0,214,317_AL_Review (Spoils): Six scientists are hired to find out what is the strange phenomenon of the Headstone Manor. They learn that eighteen guests were slaughtered here under a strange cult who still exists. Mix this all with humor and very tongue in cheek one liners and you have what a spoof of horror should be.

This is not a horror film really but more making fun of it all. We have some sinister monks, some blood, some love making to a ghost, knives, some satanic rituals and many nods to classic films outside of horror. The one liners are classic in some cases such as the ghost love scene but some of the humor can be dumb and over seen. But you can tell by watching this film Vincent Price and Kenny Everett had fun doing this one.

Rating: I don’t normally like over the top slap stick in my horror but I had to check this out as it had Vincent Price. Picture the film Airplane but in the vein of horror, very similar when it comes to the scenes and the one liners. It is a hit and miss when it comes down to slapstick but worth checking out at least once with some beers.
