Since that time a group of divers from a scientist team are paid to go exploring the ruins to find more information. When under the great caves something goes wrong and there is an explosion which traps the young divers in the ruins. What they find out is that they are not alone a mysterious parasite ahs turned the living underneath into vicious beasts.

Welcome to the rip off of the Alien films. While watching this I could not help but compare the two which of course makes this film hurt and fail. The concept was ok and the scenery of the film underground is actually really good (but as good as The Decent) but the camera is moving so fast in the scenes that it is hard to decide if it a action film or a horror film. The creatures are entertaining and they did not use stupid CGI to do it but the plot is lacking.

Rating:  This film is pretty much an average horror film that trends on the action side. The story and monsters are not memorable but at least we have Piper Perabo. That’s worth some beers alone.
