So cutie Mattie and her boyfriend and some new person Dexter work together to create a new computer virus to save mankind from the haunting one.

So yet again we have an American remake of a Japanese classic, this time it is for Kairo. The film itself is not bad and Kristen Bell holds her own but the movie felt like it was trying too hard. The movie has eerie moments but at the same time it was slow paced. The deaths are cheesy and the special effects are way too CGI for my liking. We have ghostly like images on some computer screens, we have some depressed teens and some suicides and bursts into ashes. The film can be very confusing at the same time and hard to follow but it was a step away from the typical long haired girl crawling type horror film of this time era.

Rating: We have a film that could have been so much more. Personally I found the film very boring and slow and I hate remakes in most cases. The only thing that kept me semi enjoyed was watching Kristen Bell other then that the film kind of sucked.
