We have the young beautiful people of Hollywood in a film in which they are all having fun and a teen has a vision and does something to save people for the disaster happens. Death gets pissed off because it got cheated so it starts to knock each young person off on by on in order of sequence it should of happen.

A roller coaster ride is involved in this one, lots of gore, clues on how people are to die, lots of blood and the CGI is semi okay but it is noticeable unfortunate. James Wong is great and you can tell he had his hands on this one as we reinvented the same wheel from the first film but the twist of death actually playing a game with the teens is a nice interesting twist.

Rating: I’m going to be honest when I first watched this film I was not expecting much as I normally hate Hollywood horror films and being the 3rd in a series I thought it would be lacking. It actually was not bad for the 3rd film in a series.  It’s entertaining and the deaths are laughable….so grab some beers and enjoy!

The Haunting in Connecticut (2009)

Country:  USA

Director: Peter Cornwell

Main Stars: Virginia Madsen, Martin Donovan, Elias Kotea, Amanda Crew, Sophi Knight, Kyle Gallner

Storyline:  A family move to due to their son’s health and they move into a disturbing haunted area.

MV5BMjE0NDU1NzY0OV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwOTY4NTczMg@@__V1_UX182_CR0,0,182,268_AL_Review (Spoils): The Campbell family move due to the sickness of their son Matt (Kyle Gallner).  They move into this charming Victorian home that was once a funeral parlor. They make a rash decision and rent the place because it is closer to his treatment center.  After the first night of being there the presence of others can be felt within the house.

We have dark shadows, some disturbing black and white pictures, and visions of dead people, burning hands, family conflict, skin carvings, eyelids and some good old fashion cult fun!

Rating: This film is kind of like a more modern day Amityville Horror film. It’s your typical haunting films with some of the normal scares like bodies behind people and mirrors. Some story as other horror films of this nature as it is supposed to be based on a true event but really think about it… way to many clichés. But for it times the movie is not horrible.
