She gets chased down by ghouls and finally she passes out as pale skin vampires interrupt. She wakes up to a young woman named Lemora (Lesley Taplin) who explains to her and takes her in. She explains to her that her father is very sick and he is strapped down not to hurt himself and others. This leads to the storyline of ghouls and vampires and some lesbian in your window. In the end we have a chase, some more battles and the choice between Lemora and Lila’s father.

We have some blood, a real gothic feel, vampires, ghouls and some nightmare type sequences. The film was supposedly banned due to the anti-Catholic vibe the film brought but I did not feel that when watching the film. Sure there is some don’t wear a crucifix but what movie of vampires of demons does not. It could be the relationship between the two girls that lead it to be banned during this time of the 70s because it was very much out there.

Rating: The feel is dark, gloomy and does have a macabre gothic feel to it. Is this film a classic I’m not sure but it is worth checking out if you like dark really unknown but horror films of the 70s era.
