Review (Spoils): George A. Romero is back with another great zombie flick. There are some flaws in the film and the introduction with the TV station can be very overwhelming and confusing. Just get past the first 15min of the film and your ready to go. When the SWAT team kicks on the screen you’re good to go with the gore!

Francine (Gaylen Ross) is a TV executive and she is forced to flee with her wanna be cop dick of a boyfriend Stephen (David Emge). Gaylen Ross does a great job playing the quiet blonde girlfriend so is tired of being just a pawn in the game of man vs zombie. David Emge’s character does the opposite he is an arrogant pig who treats his wife like an object even though the movie does not go there.  The abortion conversation was a key for pointing this out and also not giving his girlfriend a gun to defend herself.

Than we have the two SWAT guys Peter (Ken Foree ) and Roger (Scott H. Reiniger) which add a flavour to the film such as one liners, comedy and gun shooting excitement. Peter has nothing coolness and attitude and Roger are more of your short hyper guy.  All four characters together make a nice mix against the zombies for survival.

Now for the zombies of the film, Tom Savini does an amazing job in the makeup of our pale, blue skin, slow walkers. Also he acts as one of the motorcycle guys in the final battle scene. We got some serious gore and blood in this film, everything from biting, ripping, chewing and more bouncing bullets than a classic western. This is one of Tom Savini best.

Rating: “When there is no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth” drinks up to that as this is one of the better zombie flicks out there. Thank you George A. Romero and Tom Savini once again and great music again from Goblin.
