Storyline: An experiment turns sheep into blood thirsty zombies that haunt the New Zealand farmlands.
Review: Two brothers who are opposites take over a farm from their father. One brother Angus looks into the genetically engineered Oldfield Sheep and has setup. What they do not know is there is a problem with the embryo and the starts the spread of the blood thirsty sheep. The young farmers and their young friend Tucker (Tammy Davis) team up together to end the zombie like sheep which are spreading across the land and the company that started the madness.
Black Sheep is like a cross between a Troma film, a good gory zombie film and Shawn of the Dead. The movie is fun and there has not been another zombie sheep film out there so it is unique. We have bunny eating, lots of rifle shots, lots of sheep zombie biting, some sheep turning (yes like a werewolf) and some blowing up farty sheep. Fun times all around!
Rating: This film is not to be taken serious by any means and it is a good beer drinking film. It reminds me of the old Peter Jackson films. You have to see this film to believe that it was actually made. Sure some of the parts are so out there and the fart part is pretty lame but it is worth a glance with some friends.
