They end up in a small town creepy town called Imbocca and the husband Paul (Ezra Godden) has visions of a beautiful black haired and green eyed mermaid.

During Paul and Barbara’s (Raquel Merono) stay for help they notice the people of the town are strange and the place is not all that clean.  Here we learn that the people of the town are not human but strange mongrel folk of the sea that worship a god known as Dagon. The visitors get captured and held prisoner for the dark god by the strange people of the town. In the confusion and the escape he encounters the mermaid woman who is really a priestess of Dagon they plan to sacrifice Barbara to the dark Cthulu god. Can he rescue her in time or is there even a bigger darker secret involved.

Being a huge Dungeons and Dragons fan I ate this film right up. The film was interesting and the acting was not so bad. Sure some of the effects were cheesy but overall it was not a bad film. You cannot go wrong when you have the cthulu involved.

Rating: If you like a dark story and enjoy fantasy with your horror this film is for you. If you’re a H.P. Lovecraft fan you have to see this as the movie is based around his book. So grab your own favourite watery brew and raise praise to Dagon!
