The Amityville Horror 6: About Time (1992)
Director: Tony Randel
Main Stars: Stephen Macht, Shawn Weatherly, Megan Ward
Storyline: Someone brings home a clock from the original house and the evil carries along with it.
Review (Spoils): Yes you read the storyline above right it is about the evil spirit being attached to a clock that was once in the haunted residence. The old clock arrives as a gift and the evil within it starts to unleash and unexplainable things start to happen. Wait……. did this kind of happen in the fourth film with a lamp? What’s the difference? This is one if kind of watchable believe it or not.
An old clock from the original house brings the bad luck with it and we some love triangles and a seer and we have another Amityville Horror film for the series. The acting is not bad in this film and some of the killing scenes are actually not bad. The storyline is wrapped around the word or term “Time” and it almost gives the film a Hellraiser series type feel.
Rating: Now is this a great film…hell no this series has not been good really since the second film. But it is waaaay better then the last two so for me this is a beer or two more just for taking the series out of the ditch again. Let’s just say it is different than the rest of the series….

The Graveyard Shift (1990)
Director: Ralph S. Singleton
Main Stars: David Andrews, Kelly Wolf, Stephen Macht, Brad Dourif, Ilona Margolis
Storyline: A textile mill is being reopened and filled with rats along with another strange monster that hides until night.
Review (Spoils): An old textile mill gets reopened and slowly being cleared out of rats after it was shut down after a horrible death of one its workers. A young man (David Andrews) who is an outsider (wow this is new for Stephen King) needs work so he takes on the job. Late a night a rougher crowd work the night shift at the mill along with a crazy exterminator (Brad Dourif ) who is hired to keep up on the rat issue. One by one they start to disappear as something strange lives in the basement of the mill.
We have some good blood and chewy meat in this one which surprised me. We have rats, people being chewed up in the machines, lots of people being dragged into the darkness and the odd glimpse of the beast.
We have the asshole boss, the love triangle and the loner. Nothing really stands out from this film from many of the other Stephen King stories. Too be honest the film might of been better if we didn’t have the silly bat beast in it.
Rating: We have the odd babe (Ilona Margolis, Kelly Wolf) and some character build but overall most of them were crazy or brain dead. I’m not sure how this place stayed in business as most of them were goofballs. This hurt the film as the only one with brains was the hot Ilona Margolis. They should of stuck with the rats in this film.
